According to AAA of Southern California, almost five million Southern Californians are expected to travel over July Fourth Weekend, with almost 43 million people nationwide hitting the roads. Those are incredible numbers! There’s no argument, Americans love to celebrate Independence Day traveling to beautiful beaches, scenic mountains and relaxing vacation spots across this great country to see their friends and family.
I was also proud to see that in salute of our men and women in uniform, Major League Baseball will sponsor a game between the Marlins and Braves July 3rd on base at Fort Bragg, North Carolina - Thanks to all our men and women in uniform who serve so we can enjoy July Fourth!
Like many of you, I’ll probably fire up the grill with family and friends, cook some hamburgers and hot dogs, and watch whatever baseball game is on. It doesn’t get any more American than that in my book. We can put our PR and Marketing jobs aside for a day, enjoy our friends and loved ones, and reflect on what a great country we live in. I hope you all get a chance to do the same!
